Graduated in quadrants or azimuth, divided into 1° increments. Single, rare earth magnet has a high coercive force to prevent demagnetization and pointing errors of the two-magnet system. Patented International™ suspension for use over a wide range of latitudes without rebalancing the needle. Made of nonmagnetic materials. Declination setting cannot change with shock or vibration. Declination adjustment has a set screw with 180° rotation. Vertical angle is ±90°, reading to 10 minutes x 100% grade, 5% divisions. Waterproof.
Includes leather case and instruction manual. Damped. Size: 2-3/16"W x 3-3/16"L x 15/16"D. Unit can be used with any standard 2-1/4" thread tripod or monopod (requires Ball & Socket Head for mounting to tripod or monopod.)
