Flames may sometimes be the
least of your worries.
The trend of more and more individuals choosing to live near
forests or in remote, rural areas means the potential threat
to lives and property from wildland fires becomes greater
each year. Prevention is key but there are an overwhelming
number of potential causes (lighting, human carelessness,
arson, etc.) that make these fires almost inevitable for certain
areas. Beyond the flames, wildland fires also can trigger
landslides and floods. An effective plan will take these factors
into consideration.
