Circulation Analyst (Full-Time)
Lab Safety Supply is a progressive company that offers profit-sharing, on-site health care and cafeteria, a free fitness center and a comfortable working environment. If you’re looking for better place to work, and meet the qualifications, our Customer Information Department is looking for a Circulation Analyst. The ideal person for this position will be able to perform buyer and prospect analysis/profiling; develop target marketing strategies; forecast, implement and monitor circulation plans for sales and buyers; develop and implement meaningful and executable testing plans and perform back-end analysis including recommendations for improved performance in an effort to achieve buyer-file growth objectives. This person would also serve as a member of cross-functional marketing planning/project teams.
The Circulation Analyst position requires a four-year degree, or its equivalent, in a business curriculum, preferably marketing or statistics; two or more years of experience in a direct marketing environment, including customer segmentation analysis, circulation planning, list selection, forecasting, merge/purge, database management, marketing research and plan development; a complete knowledge of analysis tools and relational database programming techniques (including SQL, SAS, Access and Excel); an understanding of overall market development and media production processes; excellent organizational skills to facilitate the coordination and completion of multiple and varied projects, as well as written and oral communication skills that allow clear and concise presentation of conclusions and recommendations to a variety of audiences.

Systems Analyst - Electronic Commerce (Full-Time)
Put your e-commerce experience to work for a progressive company that has an on-site gym, cafeteria and free clinic. Lab Safety Supply is looking for a Systems Analyst who specializes in electronic commerce. This position has a number of responsibilities including the development of applications and on-going technical support for all e-com-related projects, provide technical consultation in new systems development, evaluation of new packages and enhancement of existing systems. You will participate in technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of e-com projects and enhancements, assist in the planning, installation, implementation, administration and monitoring of the e-com infrastructure and development environments. In addition you will support and troubleshoot e-com-related applications and maintain an understanding of current and emerging e-com-related technologies.
The Systems Analyst position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or its equivalent in work experience, three to five years’ experience in software development, installation and modification in an on-line environment—with at least two years’ experience in Web-related development. Microsoft certification is desired. The successful candidate must have good oral and written communication, organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills, a broad awareness of basic Internet, intranet and WWW technologies, including: Inter-, intra- and extranet tools; Web installation, configuration and performance management; Web navigation, content, linking and browser tuning; Web security, firewalls and encryption. Working knowledge and skills in: HTML, SQL, Windows ™ Server, IIS, Visual Basic, VBScript, ActiveX, COM/DCOM, ASP, Visual Studio in addition to working knowledge of at least one RDBMS (MS SQL Server preferred) with database/Web connectivity. Knowledge of PeopleSoft development, Endeca, XML, VB.Net, Web Services desired.

Web Designer (Full-Time)
Lab Safety Supply is a progressive company that offers profit-sharing, on-site health care and cafeteria, a free fitness center and a comfortable working environment. If you’re looking for better place to work, and meet the qualifications, our E-Commerce Department is looking for a Web Designer. This position has a number of responsibilities including the design, development and support of the company Web sites, e-mail campaigns and other online promotional initiatives . You will create, edit and maintain Web graphics and manage Web site change requests; g enerate ideas, strategies and concepts to meet creative and overall E-Marketing objectives and create graphical content to support these objectives. In addition, you will identify and develop e-commerce opportunities that drive internal and external customer satisfaction and improve the customer experience on the Web site.
The Web Designer position requires a degree in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Visual Arts , and three years’ experience in web design and development . Proficiency in XHTML and CSS, table less page layout/design; k nowledge and experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.); knowledge of compliant site design and Web 2.0 concepts; knowledge and experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. The position also requires you to r emain current and have a thorough understanding of marketing principles, technologies and best practices to assure favorable online user experiences; stay abreast of Web design, Web development, Web standards, emerging technologies, multimedia tools and techniques; and s trong organizational and time management skills.
